Private messages are messages sent between two users that is not shown to other chat members. To send a private message use the chat command /private. Once you are ready to send a private message, enter your chat command in the chat message text field and hit enter.

/private bob Hi, nice to see you!

Private messages can be sent:
from broadcast host (creator) to members of the chat
from one chat member to another
from chat moderators to broadcast host (creator)

Private messages cannot be sent:
from chat members to broadcast host (creator)
